Keystone Porter is Beer of the Festival!

Keystone Dark Porter was awarded ‘Beer of the Festival’ at the twelfth Salisbury and South West CAMRA Winterfest. At 4.5% the delicious dark beer proved a winner with drinkers at the beer festival last week against over 20 other beers.

The Keystone Dark Porter also proved popular at our recent and very successful open day. Many of our customers visited the brewery to try a full range of our beers and learn a bit about the unique way Alasdair produces his award winning beer. Click here to see some pics of the day.

Since January all keystone beers are brewed using the Malted barley grown in the fields close to the brewery. The 6 month malting period means we are now selling beer using the 2008 harvested barley.

The award winning and popular ‘Cheer Up’ (the days are getting longer) is still available at 4.6 % this is a wonderfully full rich winter beer. The recently re-launched Bedrock Bitter at 3.6% is also proving to be another cracking keystone favorite.

Winning awards

Keystone Large One, Porter and Gold Spice bottled beers won a whopping FIVE stars at the 2008 Guild of Fine Food's Great Taste Awards finals. Keystone beers have also won gold and silver awards at regional beer competitions as well as several ‘Beers of the festival’

Keystone Beers are available to buy direct from the brewery.
