"Secondly, an issue: I hold you responsible for the vast surplus of lager I now have at home! People were enjoying the Gold Hill so much that even confirmed lager drinkers, including Germans and Poles, were heading to the barrels. My dad kept telling me (between sips) that 'the beer's too good...' Personally, I think it was just right!"

What’s in the cellar?

Regular

Bedrock Bitter (3.6%abv)
A light beer with a balance of light malts and fresh fruity hoppiness.
This beer has subtle sweet citrus flavours from the late Goldings hops.

Large One (4.2%abv)
A best bitter with a distinct malty flavour and a delicate addition of
bittering hops with hints of fruit and spice in the aftertaste.

Gold Hill (4.%abv)
Wonderfully golden in colour and full of citrus and floral aromas.
Hoppier than Gold Standard with the addition of English Cascade hops.

Gold Spice (4%abv) Gold and Silver Award Winning!
A gold coloured beer with plenty of late Boadicea hops. Stem ginger
is then added to the cask for a delicious ZING of fresh ginger.

Seasonal (check availability)

Cheer Up (the days are getting longer!) (4.6%abv)
Tawny in colour, malty to start with bitterness and hops coming
through in the finish. Dry hopped with Fuggles hops, lovely!

Keystone Porter (4.5%abv) Award Winning!
A rich smoky dark porter with a subtle blackcurrant flavour from the
Brambling Cross hops. A substantial winter beer.
leading to crisp hop flavours and aromas from Goldings and Bodecea Hops.
